Back-to-school season means we’re getting back to the fundamentals, too.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been investing in what matters most—training, refining timing, and opening up new services so our stylists can continue growing behind the chair.

You’ll also notice some new faces at both of our locations. After months of hiring, coaching, and building, The Mur Salon is fully staffed and ready for everything this season brings.

Whether you’re a returning guest or visiting us for the first time, we’re excited to welcome you in.

If you’ve been with us for a while, you probably recognize Stephanie.

She was part of The Mur Salon during some pretty monumental years, and now she’s back—for a good time, not a long time.

Stephanie is an incredibly talented stylist and educator with a passion for customized haircuts, dimensional color, and vivid transformations. More importantly, she genuinely cares about the people in her chair.

She’ll be with us at The Mur Salon in Guilford beginning July 28, working Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30–8:00 PM.

Life has a funny way of bringing good people back around, and we’re excited to have her with us again.

People ask all the time why it’s called The Mur Salon.

The answer is simple.

Murray wasn’t the fanciest dog or the easiest start. He was rescued, loved, and given the chance to become exactly who he was meant to be.

That’s the kind of environment we wanted to build for people too.

No pretending. No fitting into a mold. Just a place where you’re accepted, supported, and leave feeling like the best version of yourself.
