This was our first event we have had in quite some time, and we couldn’t have asked for a more generous community and turn out! Thanks to those that came out and enjoyed a joyous afternoon!

On Sunday, October 4, from 11:00 am – 2:00 p.m., The Bird Nest Gallery & Salon Suites at 25 Water Streetwill celebrate the work of two wonderful Connecticut artists, Brendan Loughlin and Lisa Miceli.
And there’s an especially good reason to come: Brendan Loughlin is making a rare appearance! 🎨
For decades, Brendan has helped “Paint Guilford!” with his exuberant, colorful work. Lisa Miceli, a talented plein air artist and instructor, will join him with her beautiful Connecticut landscapes, seascapes, still lifes and flowers.
Come meet the artists, enjoy their work, enjoy libations and spend an afternoon with friends and neighbors in the wonderfully eclectic Bird Nest.
And there’s more! One original work by each artist will be auctioned, giving you a chance to take home some very special Connecticut art.
Best of all, 100% of proceeds will benefit the Guilford Food Bank. ❤️

Today being my last day of work before vacation I chose to drive into Guilford on Rte 146, from Stony Creek.
Its the most beautiful road along our Connecticut Shorline. When I opened in 2011, It was my commute every day. Blessings 🙏
As I arrive outside the shop to park I am completely overwhelmed with gratitude… of course I burst into tears. LOL

i am so very proud of these women, who are not just partners, they feel like family.
