The Village Barber Shop

•. We will be closed on his SAT. MAY 16th ( my fault!). Tom has asked me to fill in for him , but the eyeball is not quite ready.

(There has been a little bit of hope that maybe when they change the eyeglass lens, it may help with the dizziness.. workin at that!)

We’re also gonna give the crew a break and be closed Saturday Sunday, Monday of Memorial Day weekend which I believe is May 23 24th and 25th!

SOMEONE IN THE SHOP IS TURNING 50 TODAY!

I wont mention who!

HINT: First letter of his name starts with a “ T”, middle letter “o”, ending with an “ m”!

33 Years Ago..

I was asked if I wanted to take over the Barbershop, my answer was “ I will try’,
I have not given a definite answer yet if this is what I want to do so to me , I’m still in the trial period.. 33 years later!

A small update on the eye situation again I just have no deadline of when I will be back.. I have no idea how or if this eye is healing , but it is getting frustrating. I had pretty good days last week as almost 3 days in a row. And I thought I was heading in the right direction. I had a Line Dance dance event on Thursday. I went to the Vfw to set it up., sat back most of the night. I think I did a few dances, to help out, apparently that was not a good idea , nothing too crazy and I have been down and out ever since😂😂😂,
With the headache and the dizziness all over again. For a while, I thought it was gone for good but “ errrt” wrong answer!

Basically, all who have been so patient and waiting for my return, I honestly cannot tell you when that will happen ! The sucker is taking a very long time to get back to normal . Again I have no deadline. It’s not like next Tuesday, I’ll be great. I just don’t know.
If I turned my head too fast to the left, that’s a bad thing if I look up that that’s a bad thing if I bend down, that’s a bad thing..


There are two very capable bodies down at the barbershop who can take care of your hair, as I lose my patience, waiting for this to all get better! 👁️👁️👁️👁️

I literally still have the pirate thing going on. I’ve got one eye closed when I’m reading./ driving (probably shouldn’t mention that😂), not sure of cutting hair with one eye is the best of ideas.. but I’m sure I’ve done a lot more stupider things😂😂

So pirate life it is … until is not!

I I don’t need any sympathy. I just want the people who are waiting patiently to understand. I really don’t know when I’m gonna be back… so you better go get that haircut😂😂

John is from Columbia ( love accent), he has been cutting hair since 20O1.

We do some laughing! He is so much fun! He is great!
