Lollie and Keith's anniversary was last week and I stole these off of fb when she posted, sorry girl 😘

But I did so....

1.... because I love lollie. We've known each other in many lifetimes. She's a treasure type friend, where you love each other in the present and celebrate each other in our own lives living in two different worlds. That is the beauty of social media fr these days.

2.... because look how gorgeous she is and how happy her hubby is. Marriage is full of so much and has depth and density. It's special and full. And when you can hold onto the memories of love and light in all the seasons it's very special. At least to me, I am a hopeless romantic so it may be cheesy to yall but I think it's a gift.

but 3...... because as a makeup artist who gets to glam my friends (old and new) and truly shine on their wedding day, there's nothing quite as special as looking back and saying "wow she still looks so beautiful!". Timeless can be so much. It doesn't have to be boring or all look the same. It can be aesthetic, romantic, cool, stylish. Timeless isn't one look it's being iconic.

Hayley, you were an absolute vision. It was such an honor to be trusted with your makeup on one of the most meaningful days of your life. Moments like that are so personal, and being invited into that space meant more to me than I can put into words. You radiated beauty, grace, and happiness and it was such a joy to see you shine.

Glossy glam! Lets get into it.. I love this finish. To me it feels chic and effortless. It feels feminine and sexy. In person and on camera I love the look! I'm a sunshine, saltwater girl, and it reminds me of that beautiful summer skin!

For the body I like using a dry oil first and finishing the high points (collarbone, shoulder, base of the throat) with a powder highlighter thats not too pink or too gold. For my fair girls I love ch*****ne undertones, and my darker girls I love rich honeys and ambers. If you're unsure of how to highlight on the body, bring your collarbones forward and highlight them, tops of shoulders, and if your outfit is plunging, a great drag queen tip I learned is create a martini glass between the girls, cup at the top, stim down the middle, base underneath... it's DREAMYYYY.

For the face this is where skincare plays a big role. If you're already taking care of your skin you'll most definitely end up with a great finish and working around acne and rosacea is not a problem! It's having the skin prepped and to best of your ability a happy skin barrier! Makeup goes on beautifully to those who wash their makeup off at night, hydrate, moisturize, and wear their SPF! I like to apply AOX Serum to my clients who desire a glow, then sunscreen, then a primer best suited for their skin. For a glowy finish it begins with a glowy start.

Usually I build glow with foundations like , and my newest obsession however for my girls on a budget Halo Glow by is on her A Game. I'm always sure to do a soft set under the eye, along the jawline, and typically the t-zone. If you're naturally oily... do not skip setting your makeup or it'll end up in your lap. Lastly if you tend to have dry to normal skin get comfortable playing with bronzer sticks, blush sticks, and lip glosses to create an effortless finish thats not too wet, but no where near dry. If you're oily, powder blushes that have built in illumination, and powder bonzers, can act as facial setter without making you cakey. The finish will display a healthy glow while holding you in place. Always finish with a great setting spray.
