Another Best of the Coast is in the books, and we just want to say THANK YOU to every single person who took the time to vote for us! 🫶🏼

The Blue Magnolia was named Runner Up for Best Hair Salon in Gulf Breeze, and our owner, Alison Sardina, was also named Runner Up for Best Hair Stylist. 🥂

This makes 8 YEARS of Best of the Coast recognition for us. 🥹 Every single year since Blue Magnolia opened its doors... plus another two years before that when Alison was still out there doing her thing before Blue Magnolia even existed. 🤍

8 years of y’all voting for us, supporting us, telling your friends about us and filling our hearts and chairs. 🫶

Also, CONGRATS to all of this year’s winners & finalists! There are so many insanely talented people and amazing businesses on this list, and we’re proud to be right there alongside them representing our little corner of this beautiful Gulf Coast. 🫶🏼

✂️ HAIR MODEL NEEDED — THIS MONDAY!

Okay clients, we need one of you! 🤍

We’re looking for a model for our upcoming Hanzo cutting class with National Educator Sean Paisant this Monday, August 17 from 10AM–12PM.

We’ll be creating a modern shaggy bob — lots of texture and movement, soft face framing and a wispy/curtain-style fringe. We added some inspo so you can see exactly the vibe we’re going for. 👀

We’re looking for someone with shoulder-length hair or longer who is ready to make the chop into a bob.

A few important things:

* You must be 100% available Monday from 10AM–12PM and able to firmly commit if selected. Since this is an education class, we cannot have a last-minute cancellation.

* Your haircut will be performed by National Educator Sean Paisant in a class setting with hairstylists watching and learning throughout the service.

* You must be comfortable being photographed/videoed and featured on our social media.

* Most importantly — you need to be ready for THIS haircut! ✂️ We’re specifically looking for someone excited about a shorter, textured, modern bob similar to the inspo pictured.

Interested? DM us CURRENT photos of your hair so we can see your length, texture and current cut. Front, side and back photos are perfect!

At Blue Magnolia, we believe learning doesn't stop after cosmetology school. Our Apprenticeship Program is designed to help newly licensed stylists continue their education through mentorship, advanced training, and hands-on experience while working with real guests in a salon environment.

For our clients, it's an opportunity to book with a talented stylist at the very beginning of what we know will be an incredible career—all at apprenticeship pricing. ✨

As Jen continues to grow behind the chair, she'll also continue receiving advanced education and mentorship while providing the warm, personalized Blue Magnolia experience you've come to know and love.

Over the last several weeks, she's been training with our team, and we couldn't be more excited to watch her continue growing behind the chair.
