Nature's Beard Oil My purpose, my calling has always been outreach. I have always had a knack for compassion, or as I like to call it, the human connection.

Like anything else, there is a beginning, a starting point at which a small seed was placed in my heart to embark on that which in short is destiny, and I suppose this story is no different except it is mine. It started at an early age, which as a child it is endearing to people, an adorable little boy with his heart on his sleeve, but that endearment soon turns to fear and misunderstanding when h

ormones and puberty hit. As a teenager, I became a bull in a China shop. No, my home life was not perfect, and there were some serious mental, emotional, and physical issues that needed to be sorted out. That is a story for another time. Long story short, I ran away when I was eighteen years old. I left my home and did not tell anyone except a small group of friends where I was going. I travelled to Chicago, then back down to Mississippi and lived on couches from Mississippi to Louisiana. I ended up squatting with some friends in a broken down trailer in Saucier, MS. We stole items and pawned them to turn on the power, we stole for food, and ultimately for survival. We managed to live life like this for a couple of months. Some of the friends that were with me decided to branch out from this code of ethics we had established that theft out of necessity (food, water, clothes) was acceptable. At this point, I abandoned them to serve in the United States Army National Guard. I guess the point of this excerpt from my life is I do not think that I would have the compassion for the "homeless" people in this country had I not known what it was like to have had to survive it. A Well Bearded Man is a non-profit organization that is designed to assist in G.E.D. programs, counseling, and job placement, while providing free hair and beard grooming, toiletry kits, and showers to those who are down on their luck. In this country a large percentage of homeless are veterans and youth. It is my goal that this organization can strive as a vessel to reach those in need through fellowship, guidance, and support. This is not just a company for your everyday bearded male, this is a company for the well-bearded gentleman. A man who recognizes the need and love of his fellow man, a distinguished gentleman who serves as a beacon for what it means to be chivalrous, courteous, and above all else, courageous. I am calling my fellow bearded men to fellowship. Let us use our God-given gifts, abilities, and purpose to make this world a better place. Thank You,

We are making our first batch of beard oil this week. It is a limited batch, so once we are out, we are out! Also, we will be partnering with a local potter for custom coffee mugs, and we are currently creating t-shirt designs for those who are beardless. Remember guys, all of our products go to support the homeless in various ways including: toiletry kits, food and clothing.

We have over 159 likes this week which is very trying considering what our goal is to establish such an outreach that will literally impact thousands of people.
