Original post:🚨Folks, this is as bad as it gets when it comes to the threat of flooding rain. Our area does not typically see this type of flood threat more than once every few years, if that. Be prepared for Thursday's weather to do things that are not commonly seen. People may say things like: "I've lived here for years and I've never seen water get that high," or "for my whole life I've never seen it this bad."

I hope we are somehow spared and that this outlook turns out wrong. But the Weather Prediction Center does not issue a Level Four lightly. They reserve it only for the worst of the worst flooding days. Unfortunately, with this type of threat level, the probability is likely that multiple people will have to be rescued from high water and some businesses and homes will be damaged by flooding.

There’s a few new things happening at the salon and we are pretty excited about it!
All are welcome but we will be hosting a bigger event in the next month or so to announce something else that’s pretty exciting!!!!
Tonight will be our soft opening for the art gallery.! If you are or know of any artist interested in free wall space and low commission please share! We will be doing rotations and open gallery for artists of all ages!
We are also hosting a wall for local school art programs, this showing is for Lighthouse Academy in Long Beach.

Have you ever wanted to go to a salon but you have curls and no one actually knows how to handle your hair!? Even though they claim to be knowledgeable in curls or even claim to be expert level or “certified” ….. trust me when I say ask all the questions and you do get what you pay for! Ask for pictures! Ask for their training! Ask all the questions and do not hold back! Your hair may grow back but your self esteem will effect you for months and the ptsd from a bad cut as a curly is not worth the headache! When I tell you I fix bad curly cuts on a regular I FIXED 5+ in the last 2 weeks!!!!!! Their ego will get over it in a day but you will be stuck with 💩hair for MONTHS!
Curly hair is cut dry!!!!
Curly hair HATES oil that’s not water soluble!!!
Curly hair can not heal nor hold water if there’s oil or build up!
Curly hair HAS TO BE DETOXED REGULARLY!
Curly hair cuts are not the same as a regular haircut!
If done properly you can still blow it out straight!!!!
Curly hair ISNT CHEAP but it’s done way less often!!!! I see clients 2xs a year on average from all over the world!!!!!
