My girls beautiful hair donated to wigs for kids❤️

My girls donated their hair to Wigs for Kids. I was only going to cut 1-2 inches but my girls both wanted their hair short, when they showed me how short, I asked again to make sure, got out the tape measurer and got excited we had enough to donate their hair. I explained to them what Wigs for Kids was and they definitely wanted to donate. I cut 11 inches off of Amelia (1st pic my 6 year old) and 9 1/2 inches off of Gianna (2nd pic my 7 year old). Thank you girls for being so brave, so selfless and so compassionate. Always trying to teach my girls empathy for others. I’m so very proud of both of you.❤️❤️

Big chop! With the change of seasons comes the change with our hair. Today I took 11 inches off of Brookie! She donated her long locks to Wigs for Kids. Thank you Brookie for cutting a little more than what you originally wanted to have enough inches to donate. Thank you for being generous. Thank you for making some kid happy with what you contributed for a wig. You look so good with your fall lob (long bob). 🍁❤️

✨Most of the time we breathe unconsciously, but we can also breathe with conscious awareness. The breath can serve as a way to indirectly affect unconscious aspects of the nervous system. It’s a powerful tool to help us cope with stress with more flexibility and resilience.

✨When we are under stress our breath shortens. We can even hold our breath. Yoga teaches us to lengthen and extend our breath. Releasing tension with slow controlled exhales.

✨We learn that we are in control of our breath and it helps us think and respond with a clearer perspective.

Today I cut a foot off of this little lady! Last day of Spring Break so we wanted to end it with a bang. 3 years ago 4.2.19, she donated her hair and almost to the exact date she donated again. Thank you for being so selfless and full of life. Whoever gets your luscious locks is very lucky!

Today I cut 13 inches off beautiful Nia❤️ She donated her hair to Wigs for Kids. This non-profit organization makes wigs for children and teens who have lost their hair due to chemo, radiation, alopecia, trichotillomania, burns and other medical issues at NO cost to children or their families. It takes 20-30 pony tails to make one wig. Thank you Shania for your selfless donation. You will make some child sooo incredibly happy with your luscious locks. She has donated her hair 5 times! 2012, 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2022❤️ If we could all be a little more like Shania, the world would be a better place.

From faded to fabulous! I refreshed her purple with pulp riot. All color fades but Vivid colors fade faster. It’s important to wash maybe 2 times a week and with cooler water.
