MAKE YOUR SILK PRESS LAST
SWITCH IT UP: Instead of wearing it straight, add on curls or waves for a long lasting style that allows you to have two looks in one
Do NOT take hot showers or baths immediately after a silk press to maintain the smoothness of your hairstyle. Hot showers and baths will increase swelling at the root
Do NOT style your hair in the bathroom or bedroom if there is humidity from the shower
BEFORE shower wrap it in a silk scarf AND Bonnet, AND shower cap.
Add light oil when you wrapt it every night
Additionally, wrapping, pin curling, using rods, or satin curling styles every night will help the longevity of your silk press.
Maintain a HEALTHY foundation. Consistent deep conditions, treatments, ends trim, consultations as a base.
