This wasn’t just an install. It was a correction.

When she came in, her starter locs were already compromised.
The ends had been lightened, but the integrity of the strand wasn’t supported.

What that looks like:
• weakened ends
• reduced elasticity
• higher risk of breakage

Before adding anything, we paused.

Because adding extensions to unstable hair doesn’t solve the problem—it carries it forward.

Step one was removal.

The damaged ends were cut to protect the remaining structure.

Then we addressed the color.

Instead of layering over uneven tones, we corrected and blended the base so the final result would be cohesive—not patchy over time.

Then we installed—with intention.

Each extension was:
• pre-colored for consistency
• matched to her density
• placed to support the existing loc—not stress it

Because extensions should integrate with the hair—not compete with it.
