Ever wonder why lip blush looks bold in the bottle but soft and natural on the lips? Let me show you the science behind the slay 👀💋

This is my ASMR pigment testing ritual—and it’s not just for the aesthetics. Before any pigment ever touches my client’s skin, I test it first so I can see exactly how it will behave over time.

Pigments in the bottle look rich and opaque, but once a drop is placed into water, the truth reveals itself. This is the closest way to preview how the pigment will settle into the skin, soften, and heal.

With lip blushing, I get asked all the time: “How will this look long-term?”
The answer—think blush, not lipstick. Over time, the color lightens beautifully and becomes more sheer, just like what you’re seeing in these fancy jars. As they sit and separate, it’s a clear visual of how pigments naturally diffuse in the skin during healing.

✔️ Detailed procedure forms (what took place, instruments used, pigments & numbing agents with lot & expiration dates)
✔️ One-time use disposable needles (lot & expiration dates checked)
✔️ Disposable products only
✔️ Non-latex gloves
✔️ Mask & face shield during procedures
✔️ Approved cleaning agents
✔️ Active business insurance
✔️ Biohazard container
✔️ NJDEP medical waste number (proper needle disposal)
✔️ Blood Borne Pathogen (BBP) certification — updated yearly
✔️ AAM license
✔️ Separate waiting & procedure areas

💡 Helpful tip (don’t skip this):
• Numbing agents are no longer good once they’re expired—do NOT use them.
• Pigments: once opened, they usually have a 3-year shelf life. After expiration, use them for practice on latex skin only 😉
