With winter here we all have specific winter hair problems! What's a great way to combat it?

1. Don't go to bed with wet hair! 🛏️
- the hair shaft is weaker and more prone to breakage and split ends due to friction with pillows, and the damp environment can foster fungal/bacterial growth on the scalp, potentially leading to dandruff or irritation. This combination of increased fragility and moisture creates a perfect scenario for mechanical damage and scalp issues, so it's best to dry hair first or use protective styles.

2. Use moisturizing products to help with dry and static riddled hair! 🧴
-adding moisture with leave-in conditioners, oils, or humidifiers, avoid overwashing, and use tools like metal combs or silk pillowcases to reduce friction and static buildup.

3. Use cooler water! 🌊
-Using cooler water for hair, especially as a final rinse, helps seal the hair cuticle for added shine, reduced frizz, and better moisture retention, complementing warm water's ability to open cuticles for thorough cleansing; combine warm water for shampooing and conditioning, then finish with a cool rinse to lock in benefits and protect natural oils, improving scalp health and color vibrancy.
