Two of the butters you'll find in Acid Kitty soap are shea butter and shorea butter, and each brings something different to the bar.

🌿 Shea butter contributes conditioning properties and helps create the creamy, luxurious feel I want from my soap.

✨ Shorea butter is a firmer botanical butter that adds hardness and longevity to the bar while also contributing to its conditioning properties and lather.

I don't choose ingredients just because they sound fancy on a label. Every oil and butter in my recipe has a job to do, and these two make a pretty great team.

Empire of Cancer is inspired by the intuitive, protective, deeply feeling nature of Cancer: gentle on the surface with an entire ocean underneath.
