PSA - things be a-changin'!

Dear Festival Community,

It is with a heavy heart that I share that day two of the Mid-Atlantic Healing Arts Festival, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, October 4, is canceled. Please do not travel to the venue for Sunday’s activities.

This is a deeply disappointing message to write. So much heart, time, and intention went into creating this weekend—a space where people could feel welcomed, discover support, and experience what it means when a community comes together around healing.

To our practitioners, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees: thank you for believing in this vision and bringing your gifts, your energy, and your presence. I recognize the planning and commitments you made to participate, and I sincerely apologize for the disruption and short notice.

While this weekend is ending sooner than we hoped, the vision continues. We look forward to offering smaller gatherings, workshops, and healing experiences throughout the year as we build toward the 2027 Mid-Atlantic Healing Arts Festival. These gatherings will give us more opportunities to connect, support our local wellness community, and keep this work growing.

Healing happens together. Today’s disappointment does not diminish the value of what we came together to create—or my commitment to continuing it.

Thank you for your understanding, your support, and your heart.

With gratitude,
