Let’s chat about color analysis and a misconception I hear frequently.

Yes, I am a hair stylist and yes, I do color analysis services. No, that does not mean that color analysis is solely about hair color because I’m a hair stylist.

Color analysis is the act of discovering a wide range of colors that work best for you based on your natural hair, skin, and eye colors. We look at a series of colorful drapes, ranging from pastels to jewel tones, metals to neutrals. This is beneficial to finding clothing colors, jewelry, makeup, nail polish colors, hair colors (yes, this is a part of the analysis but not the sole purpose), accessories, and so much more. The point is to find your OVERALL best colors. So many people turn away from a color analysis with me because they assume, because I do hair, that it’s only about hair.
