Good morning!

Finally, what sounds like some good news for a change!

With that being said, there are many housekeeping details we have to get in order for us to safely reopen the salon. It will be our responsibility to provide a safe and healthy work/salon environment for everyone to visit.

As of today, we are aiming for a June 1st reopen date.
With possible restrictions of number of people permitted in the salon at a time, some appointments may have to be rescheduled. There possibly will be specific instructions when you arrive for an appointment, possible safety and sanitation measures (guest and stylist-gloves,mask,etc), complimentary beverages and magazines will be suspended for the time being as well.

No one is more excited for the salon to reopen than us. I whole heartedly appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm and support. Sadly the salon can not just immediately reopen. As you all know, I am only one person and Justin works another full time job. We have kids and families. I am asking everyone to stay patient a little longer. We are almost in the clear.

First off, THANK YOU to everyone who has already reached out. The love and support people have shown to me, and to each other, during this time is overwhelming. Thank you 100 times 😘

Full disclosure: It has taken me a couple of days to put myself back together. I’ve been pretty emotional since Friday. Basically, ugly crying on and off.

As of Friday 3/20/2020, all salons in Wisconsin closed indefinitely.

[GASP!]

At this time, I am no long able to offer any services. In the meantime, we will be offering gift certificates to use toward future services. Don’t forgot to restock your hair products. Also, keep your eyes peeled for other special-edition Heartmke goods!

For the most part, I have absolutely no idea how to handle all of this, but I feel reassured that everyone is likely feeling the same confusion and disbelief.

It is my goal over the next however long this is going to take, to keep in contact as much as possible. Do not be surprised if you hear from me at the time of your hair appointment. You’d be seeing me anyways!
We are going to be updating as much as possible via social media. Any changes or new information will be shared here (Facebook and Instagram).

Heartmke is my entire heart (next to my beautiful family, obvi)! Justin and I have worked tirelessly to create a space that is fun, comfortable, and relaxing to visit. As many of you know, I can’t sit still too long and Justin loves my challenging projects. We've already started shaking things up, and have more fun projects coming we are *so* excited to share.

So PLEASE, don’t be shy. Reach out, whenever. If you have my personal contact info, use it. If you don’t have it and want it, let me know!

I know a lot of my salon guests are connected to each other through mutual friend and work acquaintances. Please re-share this post and others to come to help get the word out.
