Lived-in blonde = less maintenance, more compliments
Soft blend, bold impact
Golden tones + seamless dimension = chef’s kiss 💋
This blonde hits different
Being a hairstylist means so much more than creating beautiful hair.
Behind the chair, I’ve celebrated wins, listened through heartbreak, held space for hard seasons, and watched so many women grow into new versions of themselves.
Thank you for trusting me with your hair, and sometimes your whole heart. 🤍

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms, grandmothers, bonus moms, mother figures, and nurturing women who make such an impact every day. 💐
Today we celebrate the strength, love, sacrifice, and resilience of women who give so much of themselves to care for and support others.
Wishing a beautiful Mother’s Day to all women being celebrated today, and remembering those who are no longer with us but continue to live on through love, memories, and the lives they touched.
Hope your day is filled with love, appreciation, and a little time to feel celebrated. ❤️

There’s something extra special about having my parents in my chair ❤️
My dad is 82, my mom is 81, and today they came in for a little pampering. Moments like this remind me why I love what I do, not just helping people look and feel their best, but creating these memories along the way.
So grateful to still have these two and to be able to take care of them in this way.
PS. How cute are they! 🥰

✨ HI NEW FRIENDS — I’M MICHELLE ✨
For all my new followers, I thought I’d reintroduce myself. 💛
I’ve been in the beauty industry for 30 years, and honestly… I still love it just as much, maybe a little more than I did when I first started.
I’m a stylist, mentor, educator, business owner, and someone who truly believes hair is so much more than “just hair.” Confidence starts in the chair sometimes, and being able to give that to people is something I never take for granted.
Over the years, I’ve:
✨ Worked behind the chair for nearly 3 decades
✨ Spent 6 years as an instructor helping future stylists grow
✨ Been honored as Best Stylist for men and women in Milwaukee Magazine.
✨ Won 1st place in a national men’s makeover competition
✨ Mentored countless beauty professionals
✨ Built a business and community I’m incredibly proud of at Sola
Outside of work, I’m also a wife, a mom to 2 boys, and someone who understands balancing career and real life every single day. One of the biggest parts of my life is being a mom to a special needs child, which has taught me patience, compassion, resilience, and how important it is to lead with empathy, both in life and behind the chair. 💙
I’m also excited for what’s ahead in my career. One of my future goals is to begin building an assistant program where I can help guide, mentor, and support newer stylists entering the industry. Education and helping others grow has always been one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey.
One thing you’ll learn about me:
I genuinely care about people. Whether you’re sitting in my chair, following my page, or a stylist looking for guidance, I want people to leave feeling better than when they came in.
This next chapter on social, I want to share MORE:
✂️ Hair transformations
🎥 Behind-the-scenes salon life
💡 Beauty industry tips & education
❤️ Confidence & real-life moments
👩🏫 Mentorship and business growth
😂 And probably a little chaos too
If you’ve been here awhile, thank you for supporting me. And if you’re new here, welcome, I’m happy you’re here. 🫶
Drop a hello below and tell me where you’re from! ⬇️

Last day in my 40s—and I’m not mad about it.
I feel amazing… honestly better than when I turned 40, and even 30. I’ve finally found my sweet spot with my health, and it just keeps getting better with the things I can control.
Looking back, all the ups, downs, and crazy moments shaped me into the strongest version of myself. Every experience got me here—to this grounded, confident, and grateful Michelle stepping into her 50s.
Bring on the next chapter 💪

I am a huge advocate for my son, Lucas, who was diagnosed with autism 9 years ago.
When I first heard the diagnosis, it felt unreal. I was in denial. I cried. I questioned everything… Why? What did I do wrong? How can I help him? No one prepares you for moments like this when you become a parent.
Now, 9 years later, I’ve learned more about autism than I ever imagined. Autism is a neurological difference that affects 1 in 36 children. It’s a lifelong journey, and every person experiences it differently. Every autistic individual is unique—there is a spectrum, and no two are the same.
Lucas is on the high-functioning end. He struggles in social settings and high sensory situations and has tough days—but he works through them with incredible strength and resilience. He has an amazing support system, and I’m forever grateful for that. In the first three years after his diagnosis, he went through intensive therapy, and to this day, he continues to receive support at school and from an incredible therapist. These therapists are truly angels.
Every time I share this, it brings tears to my eyes. Lucas has come such a long way, and no one really knows what we’ve been through emotionally. Having a child with special needs is a different journey—one you can’t fully understand unless you’re living it.
Lucas is the smartest, most loving, sensitive, emotional, and goofy 12-year-old I know. I wouldn’t change a single thing about him. Watching him grow and thrive over the past 12 years has been one of the greatest joys of my life.
Before you judge when you hear the word autism, please remember—it’s not something to be “fixed.” It’s a different way of experiencing the world. Autistic individuals bring unique perspectives, strengths, and brilliance that this world truly needs.
If you ever feel like your child may need help, please know you are not alone. Early intervention can make a world of difference. Don’t let fear or pride hold you back—advocating for your child is one of the greatest gifts you can give them.💙
I did it! It’s a new me!
Time to say bye to old memories and hi to new ones!
Feels so good!

7 years ago today, I took a huge leap of faith—not only in my business, but in my life.
Being at Sola has changed me in ways I never imagined. It’s helped shape who I am as a person, a business owner, a mom, a wife, and a woman chasing her dreams.
This journey has truly transformed my life, and I wouldn’t be here without my incredible clients and the amazing Sola community. Thank you for believing in me, supporting me, and helping me thrive as a boss.
I’m beyond grateful… and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
