Why exfoliate your scalp?
Exfoliating removes buildup (oil, dead skin, product residue), unclogs hair follicles, and improves blood flow exfoliation clears blockages, allowing better oxygenation and nutrient flow to support hair growth.
✨ How to exfoliate your scalp
1. Choose your method
Chemical exfoliation: Products with acids like salicylic acid (gentler for sensitive scalps)
Physical exfoliation: Scrubs with fine particles (sugar, salt, or store-bought scalp scrubs)
2. Apply correctly
• Wet your hair
• Part it in sections
• Gently massage the exfoliant into your scalp (not your hair strands)
3. Massage for circulation
•Use your fingertips (not nails)
•Massage in circular motions for 10—15 minutes
👉 This helps increase blood flow and oxygen delivery to hair follicles
4. Rinse and cleanse
•Rinse thoroughly
•Follow with a mild shampoo and conditioner
🔁 How often?
•1x per week (normal scalp)
•1–2x per week (oily scalp)
•Every 2 weeks (dry/sensitive scalp
