It’s with a heavy heart that I share this: I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to close RootZen Head Spa.
This isn’t how I ever imagined this journey ending. What started with passion, long hours, and a genuine love for what I do has been met, time and time again, with obstacles that felt impossible to overcome. Despite giving it everything I had, the reality is that operating a small business has become unsustainable.
Rising costs, constant regulatory pressures, and a system that feels stacked against small, independent owners have made it harder and harder just to stay afloat, let alone grow.
This isn’t just about closing a business. It’s about letting go of something I built, something I believed in, and something that meant so much to me and, I hope, to many of you. To everyone who supported me, whether you came and experienced a service, shared kind words, or simply believed in what I was trying to build, thank you. You made this journey meaningful, even if it didn’t end the way I hoped.
We will officially be closing our doors June 30, 2026 in order to give those who purchased gift cards ample time to redeem them. We are no longer excepting new clients in order to leave room in the schedule for gift cards. Please text the number on our website and I will do whatever needed to accommodate you.
I’m proud of what I created. And while this chapter is closing, I’m holding onto the lessons, the connections, and the hope that something new will come from this.
