Our books are getting FULL as we head into the end of the year…especially with Hollie, Sydney + Kylee.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, we completely understand. Life happens! Just keep in mind that once you give up an appointment, it may be a little while before we can get you back in with the same stylist, especially for larger color services. Unless another guest cancels, there simply may not be another opening right away.

Our biggest recommendation: book through the end of the year now. Holiday season is coming, and truthfully… we don’t really have a slow season anymore. 🥹

1️⃣ Book with a Junior Stylist! You’ll save on your service while participating in our continuing education program. Junior services are supervised by our senior team, with their work reviewed and signed off on before you leave.

2️⃣ Join the waitlist. If someone cancels, you may be able to snag an earlier appointment.

3️⃣ Request an out-of-hours appointment. When your stylist is able to accommodate it, appointments outside their regular schedule are available for an additional $50. Fringe VIP members receive this perk FREE.

I’m looking for one model for a 2-row Luna Method extension install as I complete the final steps of my Luna Method certification 🤍

This is an opportunity to receive a discounted extension install while helping me complete my final certification submissions.

MODEL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be a good candidate for a 2-row install
• Natural hair must be in healthy condition
• Extension hair must be purchased through Fringe Beauty Studio
• Current extension clients may be able to reuse their existing hair if it is fairly new and in excellent condition
• Must be comfortable with photos/videos being taken for certification submission

The Luna Method is a concealed-bead extension method designed around thoughtful placement, weight distribution and scalp/hair health and I’m SO excited to be at the final stage of earning my certification. 🤍

PSA because I think this is something people genuinely may not realize about Fringe:

We do not have a receptionist.

There is not someone sitting at a front desk waiting for the phone to ring all day.

A receptionist is a luxury that, as a small and still-growing business, we simply cannot afford right now. Every penny we make goes back into this salon… back to our team, education, products, the space, the experience we provide, and the very large pile of bills that comes with running it. 😂

So when you call Fringe, the “receptionist” is very often… me.

And I’m also taking clients. Mixing color. Doing extensions. Managing a team. Ordering inventory. Doing payroll. Answering emails, texts and DMs. Handling booking issues. Running the business.

And when the salon is closed?

Still me.

On my day off?

Still me.

I absolutely have help, and our team helps with communication when they can, but realistically, probably 90% of it still falls on me.

So I want to clarify something, especially when it comes to phone calls:

Calling multiple times does not necessarily mean you’ll reach someone faster.

If we are with clients, we are going to prioritize the person physically sitting in our chair. If the salon is closed, I may be home being a mom, a wife, or simply a human being who isn’t working at that moment.

That doesn’t mean we don’t care. It doesn’t mean we’re ignoring you.

It means we’re a small business without a dedicated person whose only job is to answer the phone.

This is also why we encourage online booking and texting whenever possible. It gives us something we can come back to as soon as we have a moment instead of playing phone tag.

I care A LOT about being accessible to our clients. Probably more than I should sometimes. 😂

But I am also one person with a family and a life outside of Fringe, and I think sometimes that’s easy to forget when you’re communicating with a business instead of seeing the person on the other side of the phone.

We’re growing. We’re figuring it out. And maybe someday there will be a cute little receptionist sitting up front answering every call immediately.

But right now?
