Back with another wedding + lashesss SLAY😍😍😍

Today we’re highlighting the beautiful , her husband, and their beautiful wedding photos.

When getting wedding inquiries as a lash tech it’s very important to know what style of lash your client is going for on their big day.
Wideline has been a regular client of mine for years. She’s a natural lash girly. However, for her wedding day I pushed her to go a tad bit fuller than her usual.

Reason being: Photography & Makeup

Although natural lashes & classic sets are beautiful no matter the occasion, I highly suggest getting your wedding day set a little fuller. Most times as a bride you have a full face of makeup and many teary- eyed moments. Having a hybrid or volume set can ensure no matter how many tears you shed your lashes will still be visible in your professional photos. Also, they will compliment almost any makeup look you choose, whether that be a soft beat or a more dramatic eyeshadow moment.

For her specific set we went with a wispy “doll-eye” hybrid set. I was in loveeee with how these complimented everything about each look from her bachelorette party, the rehearsal dinner, the actual wedding day, and to her honeymoon. They were perfect for every event. They weren’t too full to where it was uncomfortable and too “out of the norm” for my client, yet they captured SO WELL in her wedding photography.

To my brides, when choosing to get lash extensions for your wedding day, please choose an experienced lash artist who can deliver the right look for you.
And to my lash artist, please communicate with your brides and let them know about these tips when choosing the right style.

Stay tuned @ follow for our next bridal highlight, I will be discussing the steps when choosing a new lash artist for your wedding day & the questions you should be asking 🥰

Let’s talk weddings & lashes 😍😍😍

Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to lash some beautiful brides for their special days 🤍

Today, we’re going to highlight my bride ,her husband & their beautiful wedding photos 😍 Jayla has been a consistent client of mine since 2019/2020, she’s been to me for every birthday, vacation, and holiday. So I was honored to be apart of her special day.

Here’s some advice for my future brides and lash technicians when dealing with wedding inquiries:

1. If you’ve never had lash extensions before, I’d highly recommend coming in for a consultation & a “test” set/style two months before the actual day of your wedding set.
Reasons for this:

• Allergens— If you are allergic or have an allergic reaction to lash extensions, you’d rather know two months prior to your wedding, than a few days before your wedding. This is crucial because it will prevent any discrepancies on your perfect day.

• You and your lash technician will have time to customize the perfect lash set & style for your wedding day. If you don’t like something or if you’d like fuller—less full lashes. You can let your technician know so she can correct this for your wedding day.
** This also applies if you have had lash extensions before but are choosing a lash technician you’ve never booked with.

Now, If you are a bride (like my bride above) who has had lash extensions previously & know which style/set fits you best, AND have a consistent lash technician, I’d suggest booking your lash technician at least two days before your wedding. This way your lashes are still fresh for the wedding day yet, any redness (if applicable) will subside by wedding day.

2. Having the right fullness and lash extension style for your bride is CRUCIAL for the makeup and the photography of your special day.

In our next wedding highlight post we will discuss the importance of customizing the right lash extension style for your bride 🤍
