Cold, rainy days have a way of making the body feel a little heavier.
Shoulders creep up.
Muscles feel tighter.
Energy slows down.
And suddenly, staying cozy sounds like the best plan.
That’s your reminder: this is a beautiful day to take care of your body.
Massage can help you soften tension, warm up tired muscles, and give yourself a quiet break from the gray.

What if I fall asleep… and snore during my massage? 😴😂
Short answer: please do.
Falling asleep during a massage usually means your body is relaxed enough to let go for a little while. And if a snore sneaks out? Trust me, you would not be the first. 😂
You do not need to apologize, stay awake, or feel embarrassed. This is your time to rest.
So if you wake yourself up with a little snort, just know your massage therapist has probably heard it before… and may secretly take it as a compliment. 😉
Have a massage question you’ve always wondered about? Drop it in the comments. We axolotl questions around here!

“Do I need to shave my legs before my massage?” 😂
Nope. Not even a little.
Your massage therapist truly does not care if you shaved this morning, last week, or sometime back in 2024. We’re focused on your muscles, tension, movement, and helping you feel better.
Come exactly as you are.
• Shaved legs? Great.
• Unshaved legs? Also great.
• Forgot this was even something you worried about until you got in the car? Very normal. 😂
Your comfort matters far more than your razor.

Muscle tension doesn’t always need to be met with more pressure.
I use positional release techniques to help address areas of muscle tension and movement limitation in a gentle, intentional way.
By placing the body in a position of greater comfort, positional release can help:
• Reduce protective muscle guarding
• Encourage tight muscles to relax
• Improve comfort with movement
• Support greater range of motion
• Decrease tension without aggressive pressure
This can be especially helpful when an area feels tender, restricted, or resistant to deeper techniques.
My goal is always to work with your body and choose techniques based on what it needs that day.
If you’re noticing recurring tightness or limited movement, massage may be able to help. Book with me through the link in my bio Mona Quintieri

My favorite kind of massage to give isn’t a specific style.
It’s a massage with focus and intention.
• Every session is customized to what your body needs that day.
• Pressure and techniques change based on how you’re feeling.
• I focus on the areas asking for attention instead of following the same routine every time.
• The goal is to help you leave feeling better, more balanced, and cared for.
No two bodies are the same, so no two massages should be either.

End summer restored.
Before the season shifts and schedules get full again, give your body a moment to let go of what it’s been carrying.
Massage is a beautiful way to release built-up tension, slow your pace, and head into fall feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to your body.
Close out summer with care.
