As I look back over these last 20 years, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. This little business has survived water damage, floods, freezing temperatures, heat damage, and so many unexpected challenges. There were days I honestly didn’t know how we’d make it through, but by God’s grace, we always did.

Today is one of those harder days.

If someone asked me today if I knew how difficult this journey would be, would I do it all over again? On a day like today, I’d probably say no. Not because I don’t love Lahvdah—I do with all my heart—but because some days the weight feels so heavy.

I know I’m not walking this road alone. God has never left my side, and He has placed some incredible people in my life who continue to encourage and support me. Even so, there are moments when it simply feels overwhelming.

Right now, I’m still trying to get the store back up and running. We still don’t have air conditioning, and many of my supplies and products are stacked everywhere as we’re trying to save what we can. It’s heartbreaking not being able to make the products so many of you are waiting for, but I’m doing everything I can to get things back to normal.

If you think about me today, I’d truly appreciate a small prayer. Pray for strength, wisdom, and that this next chapter is filled with new blessings.

Most of all…thank you.

Thank you for believing in Lahvdah.
Thank you for shopping small.
Thank you for standing beside me through the victories and the storms.

Whether you’ve supported me for 20 years or just found Lahvdah recently, you are part of this story, and I’ll never take that for granted.

May your day be filled with peace, joy, and a grateful heart.

One thing I’ve learned is this: let go and let God. He’s in control, even when we don’t understand the journey.

Yesterday meant more to me than you’ll ever know. Thank you to everyone who came out, gave me a hug, shared an encouraging word, or simply reminded me that I’m not alone. Your kindness filled my heart.

Truthfully, it was only the second day in the last three months that I’ve really shown my face. Somewhere along the way, grief made me lose a part of myself. Grief is hard, and no one should ever tell you how to grieve. Your journey is your own, and healing takes time.

I’ve also realized life is too short to carry hate. Cheer people on. Lift people up. Be kind. The world has enough darkness—we don’t need to add to it.

Social media often shows the highlight reel, but I’ve always tried to be real with you. You’ve seen my victories, my struggles, my tears, my meltdowns… and yes, I even got sick during a live once. That’s real life. I’d rather be authentic than perfect any day.

I’m rebuilding. It hasn’t been easy, and I won’t pretend it is. But I’m coming back stronger—not because of my own strength, but because I know Who walks beside me. I serve a faithful God, and I have an incredible army of people praying for me, encouraging me, and reminding me to keep going.

If there’s one thing I hope you take with you today, it’s this: be genuine. Be kind. Love people well. The world doesn’t need more perfect—it needs more real.
