You may be going through an internal game of Tug-of-War when it comes to prioritizing your own feelings, wants and needs, over other people’s.

Though, there’s strong urge to succumb to people pleasing and suppressing your own needs to satisfy those you care about, it is important to remember NOT to allow other people’s emotions (good or bad) to sway your better judgment.

Feel free to express your wants and needs, after carefully analyzing what exactly it is you want and need. Once you’ve pinpointed that exactly, then really think about your approach or how to effectively express those wants/needs to whom ever it concerns. This will prevent any unnecessary conflict (because there’s definitely room for conflict, if not communicating effectively). Try to give yourself a short amount of time to do this. Overthinking it may cause you to back out of standing up for yourself or expressing your needs.

Over the next week or so, give yourself permission to be “selfish”. Don’t worry about overdoing it; Jupiter is retrograde in the sign of slow moving Ta**us, right now. So, you have safety boundaries set in place. 😉
