Angel Tree kids don’t need a
“here… damn” gift.
They don’t need the bare minimum.
They don’t need the cheapest version of the thing they asked for.

These are kids who already know what it feels like
to go without.

To watch other kids get
everything they wished for
while they learn to pretend it doesn’t bother them.

So if you’re picking a name off
that tree,
don’t do it halfway.
Don’t do it with resentment.
Don’t do it like it’s a chore.

Give them something that makes them feel chosen.
Something that makes them feel excited.
Something that tells them,
“Hey baby, you deserve a good Christmas too.”

Because these aren’t charity cases…
they’re children.
Children who want what every child wants:
to feel seen,
to feel remembered,
to feel like the magic is for them too.
