Ahmed Muhammad continues to bring excellence to everything he does. From launching a nonprofit to teach kids science, to graduating as Oakland Technical High School’s first Black male valedictorian, to now completing his first year at Stanford University with an impressive 4.05 grade point average. ⁠
⁠
The 19-year-old attributes much of his successful first year of college to the lessons that he learned from his teachers in high school. It was there that Muhammad developed both the discipline and study habits that would continue to help him at a collegiate level.
