Last weekend we celebrated my mother for receiving the President’s Service Award. At 82 she STILL serving the Buffalo community, fighting for equality, and being a voice for the voiceless. To be celebrated amongst your peers, village, and family is a blessing and made this moment very special. Love you, Mom.

Beautiful new client! Talk about ordered anointing! Saturday before Mother’s Day, my plans were set- shop for my Sunday dinner, assemble the fire pit, and hang out a little bit- but as I’m leaving Lowe’s I get a call…. The makeup artist fell through… someone said, check TMB Makeup…. I normally don’t take same day bookings…. But I wanted to help this beauty out, and I’m glad I did. Ms. Gailmarie was such a pleasure, every testimony of faith, sacrifice, and kingdom building was received! Just another Godly confirmation that I’m right where I’m supposed to be. May God continue to work through you to be a blessing to others. 💗

There was a time I thought my makeup journey had to look a certain way to “count.” More brides. More bookings. More visibility.

But purpose doesn’t follow trends, it follows calling.

My story started in theater… and what began as a creative outlet grew into something deeper. Makeup became ministry — a space where women could see their beauty, their power, and the greatness they carry into every room.

Over time, my path shifted. Some seasons slowed down… while others opened doors I once only dreamed about — film, production, mentoring, and IMDb credits that came from simply staying ready.

And if I’ve learned anything, it’s this:
What is meant for you will find you.

Nothing was wasted. Every experience prepared me for the next.

I’m just grateful — for the journey, the evolution, and the timing.

God knew when I’d be ready. 🎬💜✨

Motherhood isn’t always wrapped in ease… sometimes it’s wrapped in sacrifice, tough decisions, and quiet strength.

Today, I want to honor the women who mother in ways the world doesn’t always see.

To the mothers who had to make hard choices so their children could have a better life…
To the foster mothers who open their hearts and homes…
To the grandmothers raising grandchildren with wisdom and grace…
To the aunties, the “mom-ties,” the bonus moms who step in without hesitation…

You are the village.
You are the bridge.
You are the love that fills the gaps.

Motherhood is not defined by one path… it’s defined by presence, sacrifice, and unwavering care.

It has been a pleasure and honor to work with amazing people in all things beauty, art, community, and in Christ. The many women and brides I have come to know, the local film industry, the wonderful creatives I’ve been able to work with, my fellow MUAs that collab with me, and the community organizations that have served women for various reasons to uplift and inspire where I have been able to donate my time and talent to, have been nothing short of amazing. I say this all the time- I pray that God brings me great people to work with, and he always delivers. Every human that has sat in my chair, I’ve gained a beautiful lesson and blessing from our session (BARS! 🤣)
