Proper post-care for permanent makeup brows is the most critical factor for color retention and preventing infection.

❌ Picking or Scratching: Your brows will flake, peel, and itch. Let dry skin naturally exfoliate away to prevent patchy color and scarring.
❌ Excessive Moisture & Steam: Keep showers under 5 minutes. Avoid swimming, lakes, saunas, hot tubs, and direct shower spray on your face.
❌ Heavy Sweating: Skip high-intensity, sweaty workouts for at least 7 to 10 days, as the salt in sweat breaks down the pigment.
❌ Makeup & Skincare: Do not apply brow makeup, foundation, or anti-aging skincare products (like retinol) anywhere near the brows.
❌ Sleeping Face Down: Sleep entirely on your back using a clean pillowcase to prevent friction.
❌ Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds for 4 weeks. Wear a hat when outdoors, and apply SPF 50 sunscreen over the brows only after they are fully flaked and closed.
