Being a school nurse, I’ve seen everything when it comes to ears—infected piercings, embedded backs, irritation that just won’t quit… you name it. Factor in being a girl mom, and that made me realize how different ear piercing should be done compared to how we grew up walking into places like Claire’s.
Back then, it was quick, convenient… and no one really talked about sterile technique, metal sensitivity, or proper aftercare. Now I know better—and I can’t unsee it. Tattoo parlors and piercing studios can be intimidating for littles.
That’s exactly why I started doing medical ear piercing 🤍
✔️ Single-use, sterile systems
✔️ Safe, high-quality materials (because not all “hypoallergenic” is created equal)
✔️ Real education in the moment—especially for my tweens + teens
✔️ Aftercare that actually supports healing (not outdated advice we all got growing up 🙃)
As a nurse, I triage problems. As a mom, I want better for my girls.
So I built something that finally brings those two worlds together.
Because ear piercing shouldn’t be something you fix later—it should be done right the first time ✨

One of my favorite things to do is correct old piercings 🤍 Pictures don’t even do it justice.
Too low, uneven, or poorly placed—there’s almost always a way to improve it safely and intentionally.
We can’t always have to start over… but
Strategic placement = distraction in the best way ✨
Not loving where your old piercing sits after years of heavy earrings? I got you 💎
Crocked, uneven, or “why did they pierce it THERE?!” 😅 Yeah… I fix that.
With some thoughtful placement of additional earrings, we can create balance and suddenly… you won’t even notice the “problem” anymore.

There’s a very real moment right before a teen gets a piercing ✨
The brave face…
the nervous laugh…
the “okay wait — tell me exactly what’s going to happen” energy 😅
And that’s where we pause.
Because before anything happens, we talk — not just about the piercing, but about ownership.
As a nurse, my job is teaching first. We go over what it will feel like, how the body heals, and — most importantly — aftercare. Because this isn’t my piercing or their parent’s piercing… it’s theirs.
Their body.
Their choice.
Their responsibility to care for it.
By the time we’re ready, they’re not just getting a piercing — they’re owning the decision and all that it entails 🩷

✨ No twisting needed! ✨
Old advice said to twist new earrings — but we now know that twisting can actually slow healing and irritate the piercing, it can take off the tissue that’s trying to heal. You’re basically breaking open a scab over and over again making it more at risk for an infection. Just clean with your spray or your Aftercare Wipes, keep hands off, and let your ears do their thing 💎👂
