Christine McLaughlin has had her hair done with the same stylist 3 times before this appointment. She left happy each time and tipped her stylist well. Now after this most recent visit she claims it “needs to be brighter and the cut was an uneven”. I told her to please come back and let her stylist take care of this. A few more foils and a tweak on her cut could easily take care of it. She only wanted a refund, and I told her we would not give her a refund unless her stylist was at least given the opportunity to see her hair which I was certain, based on what she was saying, could very easily be done to her liking. She was very “nasty” and threatened me by saying she “had many attorneys in her family”. I replied “either make an appointment to come back and let us take care of any issues you are claiming or sue me”. She made an appointment and came in today, 9/22/26. Her stylist took care of her hair, just like I knew she would, and she asked her several times if she was now happy with the results and she had nothing negative to say. She then came to the desk and one of our team members commented that her hair “looks beautiful”. In front of our desk team and our Guests, Christine loudly said “ you can tell that David that he is a “f**king C**T”! When our manager told her that “we do not tolerate that kind of language” she told her to “F**K Off”! To her and anyone else that ever thinks they are going to come in to a Charles David Salon and disrespect us like this…think again! With a team of over 100 women we have spent 31 years building and teaching our women to be proud hairdressers that deserve respect at work, at home or anywhere they may go.
