I wanted a simple soap, without any dyes or unpronounceable ingredients. I wanted to get back to basics where a soap was a soap, not some incredibly harsh detergent. For months I studied, practiced and failed in my soap making experiments. With a good tip from a friend, I had a break through and finally learned how to make an excellent bar of soap. After playing around I came up with a recipe that was both simple and very rich in lather. A few friends tried it, liked it and suggested I sell. The rest is history.
