Hello Facebook family and friends -- season's greetings as we prepare to enjoy the thanksgiving and Christmas holidays before starting a new year.

As Kent and I have settled in this autumn, and the election season has passed, we turn our attention back again to a spirit of generosity in this giving time of year.

Kent's Kids Literacy Program is committing to deliver books to the six Lowcountry counties of state senate district 45 -- in continuing the initiative begun when we set out to further the education of our young people.

New and Used books will be collected through Christmas with distribution scheduled for January of the new year -- as we seek fulfilling the promises to the next generations in the next season.

So, it's official! Amanda Nadine Fletcher was crowned 2015 Mrs. Hardeeville Catfish Festival -- and what a dynamic presentation, including her we researched and rehearsed stand for children's literacy through the initiative Amanda co-founded with her husband, Kent.

Amanda will appear in the Hardeeville Catfish Parade that kicks off the Festival during Saturday September 19, 10:00AM.

McKenzie Nicole Warko will be 4-years-old soon. She's been charming the socks off people across the Lowcountry since she opened her beautiful blue eyes during September 2011.

The daughter of a Colleton County Emergency Responder, Justin Warko, and a Lowcountry Medical Group Billing Specialist, Erica Nicole Fletcher-Warko, Kenz is the sweetest little girl -- she loves her daddy, keeps her brothers, Cody and Harley, wrapped around her finger.

And she's her Papa Mike Fletcher's little baby.
