✨Why Builder Gel?✨

One of the most frequently asked questions I get is about Builder Gel! What is it? How does it work compared to regular gel? How can it help me?

So let’s get into it! Builder Gel, or BIAB/structure/flex gel, is a gel specifically designed to protect your natural nail with a flexible yet strong formula. The flexibility prevents chipping and provides longevity while the strength protects and allows the natural nail to grow! This, coupled with a great quality cuticle oil and proper aftercare, can give absolutely incredible results! It’s great for those suffering from damaged nails, thin and brittle nails, or it can even help to kick the habit of nail biting- and so much more! 🎉

One of my favorite parts is it’s little to no fumes due to it being free of formaldehydes, DBPs, and other chemicals that can be toxic. 😷

It is applied in “beads” of gel rather than a traditional base coat, color and top coat. This process allows each nail to be restructured with an “apex” (the strongest and highest point of the nail) to allow for any stress on the nail to be redistributed- creating an overall stronger nail bed! 💪

Plus, one of the most common comments I get, it’s so beautiful even on its own! I have a handful of clients that love to get all on its own because it’s so pretty on the nail! 💕

Why the ✨Holistic✨ Nail Girl Pt. 2 🌱

With my newfound knowledge of fun but safe for me nails- I had to see it for myself. Getting my nails done again brought back memories of taking dozens of nail polish bottles down to the beach with me and forcing my aunts and cousins to get their nails done in the “luxury spa” I set up in my bedroom. The spark was lit and it burned brighter until I felt it was time to take the leap and head back to school for my Nail Tech license!

As I learned about nail structure and gel chemistry- I really realized how important it was to offer a space for safe and clean nails for people who struggle with chronic illness symptoms (or, just in general really)! Manicures can EASILY spread disease, cause infections, and create damage if not performed in a safe way!

It all clicked together; I knew I wanted to bring non-toxic products like , and more to my area while offering trendy designs I hadn’t seen in my area! A true HOLISTIC approach- healthy for the entire body while still being fun and trendy from start to finish!

This is why I have a no nipping policy, only use products that are 10-Free (more on that later) and fragrance free, while also using the highest quality tools I can find and creating a clean environment! Its a different experience- but one I hope people can truly relax and trust the process for!

So, why ✨Holistic✨ Nail Girl? 🌱

PART 1: Growing up- I struggled with symptomatology of various autoimmune issues, which led me at an early age to holistic healing (thanks mom🫶). Fast forward to my early twenties- I accepted a job as a clinician’s assistant where I really started to learn and understand the deep affects the things in our products, atmosphere and food has on the body as a whole! I took a large step away from the beauty products and services I once loved- but my passion for cosmetology, the arts, fashion and beauty was still prevalent. More years went by- and I met who led me to the world of non-toxic gels through and eventually 💖 and this opened up a whole new world of safe, non-toxic manicures that didn’t have to be boring while also long lasting! GOOD for your natural nails! I couldn’t believe it!
