Ingredient Spotlight: Bergamot 🌿

If you’ve noticed bergamot showing up in a lot of my blends, there’s a reason for that.

Not only does it smell absolutely amazing, but it’s one of those oils that seems to bring everything together. It has a bright citrus scent that’s softer and more complex than orange or lemon, with just a hint of floral sweetness.

Beyond the scent, bergamot is often used in aromatherapy to help promote feelings of calm, balance, and emotional well-being. Many people find it uplifting without being overly energizing, making it a favorite for times when life feels a little heavy or overwhelming.

Some of the reasons I love bergamot:

Fun fact: Bergamot is often called the “sunshine oil” because of the way it can brighten a blend and elevate the overall aroma.

It’s one of my favorite oils to work with because it helps tie scents together while adding its own beautiful personality to the mix.

Spent the day making fresh batches of body oils yesterday.
The favorites are back so I have plenty more of Calming, Stress Relief, Uplifting, and Tropical Sunrise.
I also made 4 new scent profiles: Grounding, Bloom, Tangerine Dream and Beach Bum that I’m really excited about. Will be at the Route 66 Biker Rally this weekend, so if you’re interested in one, hit me up before I sale out. ❤️🌱🍄

Mint & Spearmint Infusion
Freshly harvested mint and spearmint are slowly infusing together to create the foundation for a refreshing Eucalyptus Mint spray. Mint and spearmint bring a crisp, cooling aroma that feels clean, uplifting, and energizing. Once the infusion is complete, eucalyptus will be added to create a fresh herbal blend perfect for home, linens, or simply brightening the atmosphere.

Orange, Cinnamon & Clove Infusion
This one already smells like autumn in a jar. Dried orange peels, cinnamon sticks, and whole cloves are infusing together to create a warm, comforting blend perfect for seasonal sprays and cozy fall creations. Think crisp leaves, warm drinks, and the scent of the holidays just around the corner.

One of my favorite parts of creating these products is working with real plants and giving them the time they need. There are no shortcuts to a long infusion—just patience, intention, and a little bit of whimsy. ✨

I’ll be out harvesting these this weekend and getting them dried for oil infusions.

It’s simple, but it works.
