Listen… I have a client who comes to me faithfully in the fall and winter, gets her hair healthy and thriving….then boom summer hits and she jumps into braids… followed immediately by quick weaves. 😩 Then when fall comes back around, she’s sitting in my chair with 2 scoops of hair and we’re starting the healthy-hair journey ALL OVER AGAIN 🫪

Baby, you can do as you may it’s your hair. 😂 But please understand: I am a cosmetologist, not a magician!

Protective styles are only protective when the hair underneath is being protected too. Your hair still needs cleansing, conditioning, moisture, trims, proper takedowns, and breaks between styles.

It sucks spending 6 months growing it, strengthening it, getting those ends together… just to spend the next 6 months undoing everything we accomplished. 😭
