Hi everyone!

I wanted to send a friendly reminder regarding my cancellation and rescheduling policy.

I completely understand that life happens, and unexpected emergencies or illnesses can come up. However, appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee, which will be charged to the credit card on file. No-shows will be charged 100% the cost of service.

If a cancellation fee applies and there is no valid credit card on file, the cancellation fee will need to be paid before another appointment can be scheduled.

To keep my booking system fair and consistent for everyone, future appointments will be placed on hold until any outstanding cancellation fee has been taken care of. Once the balance is paid, you are welcome to book your next appointment as usual.

Why is this important?

As a small business, last-minute cancellations can have a significant impact on my schedule and income. When an appointment is cancelled with little notice, it is often very difficult to fill that time with another client. That time has been reserved specifically for you, and when it goes unused, I lose the opportunity to offer that appointment to someone else.

I also understand that emergencies and unexpected illnesses happen. Because of this, I will allow one one-time courtesy waiver of the cancellation fee.

Health & Rescheduling Policy

For the health and safety of myself and all of my clients, please reschedule your massage appointment if you are experiencing any signs of illness or a potentially contagious condition, including but not limited to:

• Fever or chills
• Cough, sore throat, congestion, or other cold/flu symptoms
• Body aches or unusual fatigue associated with illness
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Any contagious illness
• An unexplained, contagious, or active skin rash or infection
• Any other symptoms that could potentially be contagious

Massage involves close, prolonged contact, so coming in while sick can increase the risk of spreading illness to your therapist and other clients.

Please don’t feel bad about rescheduling when you’re sick! I would much rather have you rest, recover, and come in when you’re feeling better. ❤️

If you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, please provide as much notice as possible so I have the opportunity to offer your appointment time to another client.

Thank you so much for your understanding, consideration, and continued support of Serenity with Sonya. I truly appreciate each and every one of you!

Warmly,

Sonya
