A few quick tips to reduce pain during your wax:
1. Pop a pain killer like Tylenol or Aspirin 30 minutes before your appointment.
2. Arrive on time. This gives us enough time to chat and get down to business. You will also have a moment to communicate any worries you may have.
3. Skip the caffeine before your wax. Some goes for alcohol and lots of sugar! These can make your skin more sensitive to pain.
4. Communicate with your waxer (aka me!). Let me know if you have any anxiety. I want to make the experience as comfortable as possible for you.
5. Don't tense up! This will make the wax more painful than it has to be.
6. Always see a professional. When you DIY or see an unlicensed waxer you are putting yourself at risk for infection, improper technique and honestly just a unsatisfactory wax!
