Self Taught Hairstylist Specializing in Wig Installs. New & Used. DM to Book

⏬⏬Why your lace isn’t lasting ⏬⏬

1. You keep wearing that band 24/7 🤦🏾‍♀️ Girl let your lace breathe! If you don’t, you’ll start seeing that sticky residue of glue and makeup. This is from your band and skin creating too much heat against your lace

2. You spray products directly on the lace when doing your baby hairs. Instead, spray on to your edge brush/comb, then use your edge brush/comb directly on the hairs

3. Invest in a SILK BAND (they even have silk bonnets that come with the silk band attached around the hairline at your local beauty supply store)

4. Invest in a good lace glue and use MULTIPLE layers. If you notice your lace lifts after a few days, try an extra layer of glue. The ONLY glue adhesive I’m currently using on myself and clients is the Hold Me Down Adhesive by @hairbyericka_ 😍

5. Wait a full 24 hours before doing any activities that might cause you to sweat 💧(going to the gym, working out, partying, going to the club, taking hot showers, etc). If you’re getting your hair done for an event, try to get your hair done at least a few days beforehand and not the day of sis
