We are hiring for reception/shampoo tech position at the salon!

The details:
Starting pay $18 an hour
Typical work week hours: Tuesday-Thursday 8:45am-6pm, Fridays 8:45am-2pm, Saturdays (as needed) 8:45am-2pm

Typical workday at the salon: Greeting clients, scheduling appointments, keeping up with laundry, assisting stylists as needed with: shampooing, washing color bowls. Manage some social media. Assisting in ordering product and organize/put away product. Keep salon tidy and maintain the general flow of the salon.

Dress: Hair and makeup done is a must. Everyone’s style is different, but don’t come to work looking like you just rolled out of bed 🙃

The ideal person for this position multitasks very well, can handle unexpected situations with ease, is willing to go the extra mile. A creative person.

***Bonus points if you have ever worked in a salon!
This position requires you to shampoo clients and even mix some color (with training and assistance). You must be comfort with this. We will train you! 😉

Sharing so that we can respond to this review stating false claims regarding “discrimination”. Which we do not take lightly.

Reagan Hoover left this review but then turned the comments off, leaving us no possible way to respond to the review.

So we are responding here.

Note- Reagan Hoover has never been to the salon and has only spoken with one stylist and the owner.

On 10/31/22 Reagan Hoover messaged one of our stylists via Instagram. The picture that was sent was a service that the stylist doesn’t do (bleach retouch as picture shows). Then spoke a little more and the stylist felt Reagan should go to a salon/stylist that specializes in that type of service. The stylist recommended another salon. Reagan said she “completely understand”

Then on 1/8/23, 2.5 months later, Reagan messaged the stylist again about a blonding service. The stylist said she wasn’t taking new clients at the moment. Reagan said “just seemed like you didn’t want to do it initially”.
Regan then messaged the salon page that same night (1/8/23).
To which the owner (Aubrie Mason) responded and asked for Reagan’s phone number so we could clear this up and hopefully explain further so she could understand why the service wasn’t able to be performed by the stylist.

They agreed on a time to talk about the situation via phone call on 1/10/23 at 8am. Reagan was called a few times. And then she was sent a text message letting her know the owner had reached out and couldn’t get a hold of her.

Reagan texted back later that day (1/10/23) and accused us of “discrimination” and said we were “ prejudiced”. She also felt she was “silenced”. It’s very important to add that she was called several times and never called back. AGAIN, this person has never been to the salon but she is making these claims.

I hope anyone who reads this can see that these claims and this review is false. We do not discriminate. This is someone who was wanting a service that one of our stylists could not provide, and she did not want to take no for an answer. And then decided to leave a bad review even after the owner has tried to reach out to her several times.

We hope Reagan can find a salon to fit her needs. ❤️
