There are so many reasons I love what I do, but moments like this remind me why my job means so much to me. ❤️

Almost a year ago, this mama had to leave behind everything she knew to ensure her newborn daughter received the specialized medical care she needed. While many of us were celebrating the holidays at home, she was spending every day fighting alongside her baby girl.

Last December, instead of doing my usual salon product giveaway, I chose to donate my time to one of my beloved clients. I gifted her a luxury cut and color service for the day she was finally able to return home and enjoy a little self-care after such a difficult journey.

While sweet baby Edyn is still on her road to recovery and isn’t home yet, this strong mama was able to come in for a little normalcy while Dad stayed by Edyn’s side so she would never be alone.

Being a hairstylist is about so much more than hair. It’s about supporting people through life’s hardest seasons, celebrating their victories, and helping them feel like themselves again, even if only for a few hours.

Please continue to keep Baby Edyn and her family in your thoughts as they continue their journey. 💕
