My work is centered around soft, lived-in color, effortless blonding, and extensions that feel natural, low-maintenance, and aligned with real life. And I also offer a very intentional, calm, high-end salon experience that’s designed for clients who value that kind of space and approach.

Because of that, there are times where I know I’m not the best fit. Whether it’s the type of color goal, the level of maintenance desired, or simply the kind of experience someone is looking for in a stylist.

And when that happens, I will always be honest about it. Not because I can’t do the hair but because I want you in the hands of someone who truly specializes in what you’re looking for, and who will give you the exact result and experience you deserve.

There are so many incredibly talented stylists out there, and I have no hesitation referring clients to them when it means you’ll feel more aligned and better taken care of.

First day back recap 🥲

Closing the salon for 3 months makes for a very nerve wracking return. Statistically, 30% of your clientele will leave after a 3-4 month maternity leave. That number is scary as heck!

But I’m coming back to a salon I’m so proud of and a schedule full of clients that feel like close friends, while blissfully navigating motherhood- a season of life I once longed for.

Needless to say, my cup is filled to the brim and it’s feeling so good to be back doing what I love.

Hi, I’m Henley! I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and am so excited to be starting a new chapter here in Hastings, Nebraska.

I graduated from University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a degree in marketing in 2020, where I met my husband, Derek Boyd, who grew up here in Hastings. After college, I followed my passion for beauty by attending cosmetology school, graduating in 2021, and have been behind the chair ever since.

I specialize in blonding services and hair extensions, and I love helping my clients feel confident and beautiful through customized, lived-in color and transformation services. I also love switching up my own hair color, so chances are every time you see me, it might look a little different — I’m always up for trying something new!

Outside of the salon, I love catching up on reality TV (I religiously watch anything on Bravo), thrifting for unique finds, spending time with my friends and family, hanging out with our mini dachshund Peanut, and going to yoga.

I’m also so excited to be sharing such a beautiful salon space that has been perfectly curated and designed by Baylie. She has been so gracious to welcome me in and let me use her space a couple days a week, and I feel incredibly lucky to be working in such a warm and beautiful environment.

I’m so excited to meet new faces, build relationships, and continue growing my career in the Hastings community. Can’t wait to meet you! ✨
