Studio 27 was built on the belief that a salon and its stylists should be able to grow together — creating something beautiful, modern, and valuable for the community without our stylists having to sacrifice financially.

Too often, booth rental can start to feel less like independence and more like employment: salon-controlled hours and pricing, payments processed through the salon, unexpected fees, excessive responsibilities, or commission structures that leave stylists feeling like they’re working harder without truly building something of their own.

We wanted to do things differently.

At Studio 27, our stylists are independent business owners. You set your schedule, set your pricing, manage your own clients, process your own payments, and keep the income you earn.

Our responsibility is to provide a beautiful, professional salon environment, support the growth of the businesses inside it, and create opportunities that benefit everyone under our roof — making sure everyone has access to continued education, salon-wide marketing, community events, and local partnerships.

We’re currently looking for licensed hairstylists who are ready for a full-time booth rental home and want to be part of what we’re building.

Whether your hair is dry, damaged, frizzy, color-treated, fine, or simply needs a little extra love, there’s a Davines formula for you.

A little about us…

We’re strictly booth rent and we offer both full time and part time lease agreements. And when we say “lease agreement”, we’re not talking year-long contracts. We only offer month-to-month leases, so you’re not locked into anything crazy! Cause we understand that life happens.

We provide all of our stylists with towels, capes, robes, wisks, color bowls, color brushes, toner bottles, shampoo & conditioner, a wax Backbar, as well as an online booking system. With each station, you’ll get a dresser, mirror, chair, rolling trolley, and an almost too big storage cabinet 😅

We’re a full service salon but we specialize in custom color & extensions - so if you’re certified (or wanting to get your certification) we’d love to talk to you! We’re hoping to be the only salon in Hattiesburg where EVERY stylist is certified by a reputable company.
