Hey FB Friends!
I’ve been hard at work with my new job, trying to catch up since having to refer my customers when the wreck happened. I didn’t have the time it takes to get my clientele built back up. Therefore,
I took a job at Cellular Sales, which is a Verizon Authorized Retailer and Verizon’s biggest Reseller. We’re on the corner of Hwy 49 & Hardy St, across from USM.
So be sure to come see me (best to call me & make an appt) for all your Consumer or Business Cellular Communications as well as WiFi & Home Internet needs- phone, tablet, watch, & internet plans, home & cellular phones, tablets, watches, home, business, & mobile internet needs, insurance, etc… I will find the best Promos for you and your family.
I do plan on opening my business again in the near future, so if you’re looking for lashes, please reach out to me for that as well.

I’m currently looking for a roommate at my house in Bellegrass, so if you or someone you know is looking to rent, reach out!

I miss you guys!! Hope to be seeing more of you soon! 🫶

The countdown is on! Mason will have his second surgery tomorrow, and we PRAY OH LORD, it will be the last for both Avery & Mason.
Heavenly Father, I pray you wrap Mason in your loving arms tomorrow, and guide the Surgeon’s hands & minds as they do the Lord’s work, putting Mason’s bones back together as best they possibly can. Father I pray you heal and mend Mason so that he can glorify you in doing what he loves to do and all he is called to do.
Father I pray you do a work in this family like we’ve never seen before, answering prayers beyond what we can imagine. Lord these babies deserve the love and support they’ve been showered with during this difficult time and it has truly humbled them. We give you ALL the glory! I pray these things in Jesus’ powerful name, Amen

Hey, I wanted to give an UPDATE on Avery.
They tried to extubate her, but her airway had a lot of swelling, therefore she wasn’t able to breathe on her own. In Avery’s condition at the scene of the accident and ER, it made it very difficult to intubate her. In a trauma situation such as Avery’s, you want to use the biggest ET tube you can in order to have good access to the lungs… especially with a collapsed lung and internal bleeding she had. They replaced the tube, and are going to administer steroids for approx 48 hours, then go from there.
Although there’s been a couple set backs, Avery is doing amazing coming from where she was.
We give our Savior all the glory & praise for the miracles he’s graciously given us. She is a fighter and will get through this.
We appreciate every prayer, concern, and message. We fill the love and love y’all💜💜💜

Update on Avery & Mason:
If you didn’t see the previous update, her abdominal incision was able to be closed, so that is great! No report of spikes last night in her ICP or other events. They have been able to drop Avery’s sedation this morning to wean her down and slowly start waking her up.
Thank you Jesus for your almighty power, and keeping your hands on them as well as the medical staff at Blair E Batson Childrens Hospital/University of Mississippi Medical Center - Childrens of Mississippi. All of the staff have taken such amazing care of Avery & Mason, as well as our family. God is hearing every one of your prayers, and I pray he blesses each one of you for your faithfulness✝️

Mason did so much better last night than our first night home, praise God! He now seems to be back to himself and in his element. We are elevating & I icing his foot & leg as much as possible, and hopefully will be able to schedule his first surgery when we go to his appt tomorrow.

A dear friend, David Melancon sent me this picture this morning. He said “I remember a woman that spoke to me for the entire hour and a half as I raced from mobile to Hattiesburg when my brother was on his last breath.”
This warmed my heart so very much, and the flood gates opened! That’s ok though, I had been holding it in to be strong for the kids and to remember all of the overwhelming information.
I believed this and prayed God would do just what he’s doing in this picture! And he did🙌

I’m not the kind of person to share my troubles or ask for much. I dont get on Facebook and post pictures of all the things I do with my family as much as I would like. Maybe I’ll be able to set aside some time to post more of at least the highlights of Mason & Avery. The past decade has been very challenging, with limited time and more important priorities, but I want you to know I’m so very thankful for every thought, prayer, and every friend, please know that! I love and appreciate y’all more than you’ll ever know!

Hey everyone, I’ve had messages asking for updates… I apologize to the ones I haven’t been able to get back to yet. I try to give updates quickly, but there’s just so much going on constantly, both with the kids, as well as other things. Mason went to sleep early tonight and it’s the weekend, so praise God nobody has been in here in 15 minutes, which is a record! Also, I got to go over & be with Avery some today.

While I’ve had to be with Mason mostly as his Guardian, it’s killing me that I can’t be with Avery as much as I want to… therefore I don’t get information from her Nurses & Doctors as often. Luckily I got a detailed report this afternoon.

They were not able to close Avery’s abdominal incision yesterday in surgery as they had planned. Her ICP pressure continued to spike as they were trying, so were only able to change out her wound vac and take her chest tube out. That is a victory and we’ll take any we can get! Her body temp dropped significantly during surgery, but after a while they were able to get it back to normal. Unfortunately, last night she spiked a temp, her ICP spiked pretty high 3 times, and they had to intervene these 3 different times. She responded well to the medications. Other than 1 spike in BP today, which was treated quickly with meds, she’s had a great day!!! A big victory 🙌 They plan to leave her be until the middle of next week, where they may revisit closing her abdominal incision, and see how she is then for further treatment. Therefore, on the vent at least until then. Please pray for our precious baby.

Mason is doing well other than the swelling has gone a little backwards today. But he was up working with PT & OT on transferring from the bed to his walker & then to the wheelchair, etc… He got his wheelchair and we are scheduled for discharge tomorrow. We will get a walker at home if we haven’t received it by then. We have an appt Wed with the Pediatric Orthopedist. He will decide then when to schedule surgery… all dependent upon the swelling.

Avery & Mason’s classmates & teacher’s at Sumrall Elementary School, have been so precious making them cards and writing out prayers for them. Thank you Ms. Reagan Myers for bringing those to them today. I can’t wait until Avery can read them and see all that’s been done to support her and her bubba.

Sumrall Youth Sports Football, Coach Carlos and Coach LJ have called & messaged keeping up with the kid’s progress…. all of the coaches, teammates, cheer squad- Sumrall Youth Cheer and the parents have been so kind sending messages. Between everybody, Ive gotten over 300 messages! Y’all, the whole Pine Belt is so supportive and really comes together when we have a family hurting. I’m proud to be a part of it!

I’m sure I’m missing some, but below are few pics of the sweet things they all have done
💜💙 Thank you so much!!! 💙💜

Please pray for my babies please. They both have fevers, which is to be expected, but I’m losing my strength. I think I’ve called everyone that has appointments with me. I’m going to refer you to my friend Molly Johnson in Laurel. She’s amazing! You can message her on her FB or Instagram or I can give you her #. Thank you for being understanding.
