Road condition update from the city:

Roadway Update – Monday, February 2nd

Highway 70 has been plowed and is currently hard-packed with snow.

McCotter Boulevard and Highway 101 have each been plowed once, but road conditions remain poor. Multiple vehicles have been reported in ditches.

The Business Route exit from the east coming into Havelock has not yet been plowed and remains hazardous.

Please note that secondary local streets are still covered, compacted and frozen, making travel unsafe. Citizens should stay home unless travel is absolutely necessary so our first responders can focus on life threatening calls.
