One of my favorite parts of my job is seeing the excitement of someone who can't stop touching or looking at their hair after their service. Seeing the smiles at the end result we created together makes my day.
Listening to a client download me on their hair, their favorite parts, the challenges they are facing in styling, and the things they want to achieve, I can create a plan of action, between cutting, products and styling at home that help create the look you want.... this lovely lady here has beautiful natural curly hair which has been failing to fall how she wants. A relaxing shampoo and deep conditioning service to hydrate those curls was done before a healthy cut, (😞i forgot a before shot😞) and blow dry.... and her curls are bouncy and happy again! I love this look! ❤️

These last 2 months have been a whirl wind for sure! Busy year so far. I decided to sign up for 2 months worth of hair education videos, (think Netflix for hair😅) & stay grounded a bit more at home in front of my tabby. Every video is checked at least once, resulting in 66 hours of video. I then went back & watched some a second time to let everything really sink in & click. I literally ran that subscription to the last minute til they kicked me off because I canceled before getting charged again this month. Was searching for the next one to watch when i saw those words telling me my access was denied😳🥺😅. Every class checked twice I took in twice. Leaving me with a grand total of 90 hours of hair education in 2 months😳. I'm impressed 😅. & my brain is overflowing. They range from 5 min to 4 1/2 hours each.
I love my job! It's not really a job for me. It's a way of life, it's in my blood, in my core. I get to create every single day I step foot in my "place of employment ". & after 26 years, I'm lucky enough to be able to be excited about what I'm doing & creating all over again with a new refreshed & enlightened vision. Excited to implement new changes to my business & looking forward to creating with my clients with a new fresh vision & business plan. It's gonna be a fun year!🤗❤️
