Spring has sprung and you know what that means… it’s time to finally kiss seasonal depression “bye bye” for now.

This spring/summer is filling up rather quickly between trips, weddings, and clients in my chair. So this is just a friendly reminder to get your appointment booked asap!

As some of you may know, my family is grieving the loss of a very special person. On Sunday November 30th my Gramma left this earth to be with her loved ones in Heaven. I just ask for patience and understanding as I navigate processing my own grief, prioritizing my family, and trying to navigate the craziness that is holiday season, and the day to day craziness of life that doesn’t seem to understand I need a break.

This took ALL DAY! I’m talking we started at 10am took a short intermission to run home to our dogs and eat some lunch then spent the next 4+ hours foiling (and unfoiling) this head of hair. 10am-8pm let that really sink in. I may need the next week to recover. 😋

Feeling low so I’m sharing a high ✨

This sweetie has been trusting me with her hair for quite a few years now… and her appointments are always a high in my day but this one was extra special. The amount of self confidence and pride this color brought me should be embarrassing, but it made me think how long it’s been since I felt proud of myself or took pride in my work & that is self growth 😋

Guess who has finally decided it’s time to make an appearance after a nearly 2 year hiatus from social media.. 🙋🏼‍♀️ the answer is me! Hold on tight this could be a long one…

As most of my clients and friends know I have struggled with depression my whole life, this year has been a particularly hard year. I have been overwhelmed with self doubt, lack of passion, and so much self criticism it’s almost crippling. My family is the center of my world, they will always come first and with that being said my family has had many obstacles to overcome this year and I choose to support each and everyone of my family members as much I can through their struggles. Unfortunately I am aware that my focus has not been on my business and my passion, for those clients and friends that have been affected by this, I truly apologize and am focusing on reigniting the fire that led me to become a hair and makeup artist. I love what I do, and I hope to be able to show that to you all again!

There has been an influx of hair stylists, nail techs, and estheticians who have joined the area of Havre recently, and I just wish to show that it’s okay to put yourself first. This industry can be so emotionally and physically draining especially for those of us who care so deeply about what we do and those we are privileged to provide services for. However it’s okay to struggle. It’s okay to have bad days, weeks, and yes even years. Life is constantly swaying sometimes we ride the waves, other times we find ourselves battling them… hold tight it will steady. 🩵 My last words of advice are… Don’t compare yourself to those you see on social media, strive to be the best version of YOURSELF and you you cannot fail. I don’t want to fail myself anymore.

I want to give a huge thank you to each and every one of you who have stood by me during the years, and who continue to support me through my highs and lows, I am so blessed to have the best clientele and friends who love and support me especially on my bad days.
