Rachel Peterson is a medical massage therapist of 20 years, esthetician, auriculotherapist, lypossage certified trainer, TrainLMT founding faculty member, and massage apprentice instructor. She has worked in many settings like 6 star spas, cruise ships, chiropractor offices, spinal rehab clinics, and currently has a medical massage practice in CDA, ID, and owns a microspa in Kellogg, ID. "Passion is my propeller. I love this industry and how the work touches so much of humanity for better health and wellness. "

She has been a trainer/educator since 2007

•Facilitator of Seminars on Cruise Ships for Topics Including Aromatherapy, Reflexology,  Benefits of Massage Therapy, Natural Body Detox, Dry Brushing and Hydrotherapy Treatments, and Detox Body Wraps. Certified Lypossage Instructor - trained with Lypossage creator Charles W. Wiltsie, III. Teaches Massage Apprentices - full massage program to obtain massage licenses.

Served on the Curriculum Review Board for UCMT

We have come to the very difficult decision, after 7 years, that we’re closing our doors at Equilibrium Massage Therapy. We are so full of gratitude to each of you in our community, for your support and trust with your bodywork needs. You're the reason why we do what we do and it has truly been an honor.

We say farewell to this season in life order to spend more time with our families and begin another season. Follow Misty Connella to find out more on her next journey! While the business may be closing its doors, we will remember the relationships built with each of you and they will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Melinda Giese began her career as a LMT in 2014 from Oceans Massage Therapy school in Lubbock, Texas. She has always had a thriving interest in helping people feel better.
