🍁 Design #97 🍁
There’s something satisfying about giving old materials a new purpose.
This pendant began as a piece of labradorite that I hand carved into one of my cannabis leaf line designs. From there, I built a frame from hard copper wire, hammering it by hand to shape and strengthen it before wrapping the stone. Much of the wire used in this piece was repurposed scrap copper, proving that even the smallest leftovers can become part of something beautiful.
Every curve, every wrap, and every hammer strike has been done by hand. This is my first time wrapping one of these leaf carvings, and each new design teaches me something I can carry into the next.
I love watching the labradorite come alive with flashes of blue, gold, and green as the light moves across it. It’s one of those stones that never shows the same face twice.
What do you think of Design #97 so far? 🍁💙

Hope in every turn.
Joy in every discovery.
Millions of years in the making… and somehow it ended up in the palm of my hand. Lake Superior has a way of reminding me that the greatest treasures are usually the ones everyone else walked right past. 🤍🌊
Where cars pass by and agates are held. 🤔 Happy hunting.
