Hey everyone! I know I've been quiet, life and the farm market have taken over. Good news is that we are currently working on the base of the greenhouse at the farm AND that unassuming shipping container in the back is being remodeling into my new workshop! The walls have been sealed already to prevent interior rusting and it will be framed and insulated over the next few weeks. Shelves, countertops, and lighting have been placed so I can work in it for now though!

I have gotten a TON of messages this past week about shop hours, inventory, availability, donations, ect

Short version- most of yall will have to wait a few more weeks 😆 I'm sorry! Also, I can't do donations for the foreseeable future.

Long transparent version- When the pipe burst in February flooding my store it was due negligence from another building tenent. They had turned their heat off during the coldest week which shattered all the water lines. This resulted in my store flooding ( as I posted) and then a second burst pipe a week later. I'm extremely grateful to the neighbor who was able to get ahold of me both times. There was and is still cleanup being done as a wall, insulation, and flooring needed replaced. That is just the building itself, not to mention all the inventory that was lost. Soap takes 6 weeks to cure, and I was not able or in a position to make any for awhile. I won't sugar coat it. The place was chaotic and a mess, and I wasn't mentally handling it well. I'm splitting my time between this business, the farm, and my other job. Things are going slow, but there is progress!

In the beginning of April, I will have plenty of soap ready to go, and the website will allow for orders again. Body creams will slowly be added at that time as well. Many things will be phased out so that I can focus on those two product lines so I can deliver the best quality popular products while also building up our new farm.

The first event of the year is the Green Hill Farm Swap in Sharpsburg, MD. I will have product there, and I believe I will be joined by my mom who owns Clucking Goats Farm. She is bringing chickens.

I'm trying to respond to everyone's messages this week so just be patient. I will get back to you as soon as I can!

I don't even know where to begin, but the store flooded due to a broken pipe in the bathroom upstairs. Thankfully I've got an awesome community and I had people reach out to let me know. Unfortunately, the damage is fairly extensive. Ceiling pieces have come down, packaging storage is full of water, and boxes of ingredients are completely soaked and no longer safe for use. I will be figuring out how to pause my website tomorrow as it will take me about a week to clean up and do a proper inventory, and another 2 to three weeks to manufacture as my bulk ingredients looked to be all damaged as well.

In the meantime, I'm going to get myself a sweet treat, and you guys should buy my soap over at Orr's Farm Market.

Hellooooo! I've been kinda quiet the past few weeks huh? Between being sick most of December and into January, I've been enjoying something that has been semi secret.

The handsome fellow I have chosen to spend my days with bought us a farm. Like real, can barely comprehend acreage farm. It has been a source of mind numbing peace and frustration 😆. We planted our forever outdoor Christmas tree, spy on all the animals, and have been busy making plans for the future. We spend time every week fixing up the tiny home that is already on the property. This spring it will be home to our medicinal garden and produce plot. Yup, we will be selling some heirloom produce under the name 42 Farm! And yes we will have goats when we get a fence up. In the meantime, please enjoy a small photo dump of my life outside of soap making.

Ginger will be opening the store today at 11 as I am sick. Today is supposed to be the last day open for general traffic. I may instead be open sometime next week when I feel better.

I recently told a customer I would have honeysuckle and jasmine body cream in stock today, but unfortunately I will not. Both printers are down so I will not be able to make labels.

In short, what is on the shelves is all we got!

Theres still time to get the perfect gift or stocking stuffer! Open until 6pm tonight, 10 am to 6 pm tomorrow, and open special on Sunday from 6pm to 7pm and Tuesday from 1pm to 4pm for last minute Christmas shopping!
