A little life update because things may look a little different around Forge for a bit.

We’ve actually been on a fertility journey for quite a while behind the scenes, and we’ve officially found ourselves stepping into the IVF world. Definitely not a club we planned on joining, but here we are.🤍

I try really hard to keep life + Forge somewhat separate, but the truth is, the next few months will probably have the two bleeding together a little more than usual. There will be appointments, lots of back and forth, some out-of-state travel and a schedule that may be a little wonky this fall + winter.

I’ll be opening up as much as I can, when I can, because I still want to see all your beautiful faces — just bear with me if things look a little different here and there.🫶🏼

We’re taking it one step at a time, keeping a whole lot of hope & praying really hard for some little miracles.

Now back to your regularly scheduled skincare content.😉

Oddly addicting. 🥶❄️

POV: you’re watching inflammation leave the skin in real time. ❄️🔥

This is Glacial Skin through a heat camera — where you can actually see the temperature of the skin shift during treatment.

Not just “cold for the sake of cold.”
Precision cryomodulation helps calm inflammation, reduce redness + puffiness, support healing, and bring skin back into balance without disrupting the barrier.

Cold therapy taken to a whole new level.😘👀

It’s smokey out there. 🌫️
But what does that actually mean for your skin? Let’s talk about it. 👇🏼

And on a much bigger note — my heart is with everyone affected by these fires, and especially those working tirelessly to fight them, protect our communities + keep everyone safe. 🤍

Ever wonder why Lira doesn’t use traditional jars? 👀

This is the end of my Lira PRO Retinal-Plus Treatment… and yes, it’s actually empty. 🙌

What looks like a jar is really an airless spring-suction system that pushes the product up as you use it, so you get almost every last drop. And with this retinal being liquid gold, I definitely wasn’t leaving any behind. 😅

But it’s not just about getting your money’s worth.

Ingredients like retinal, vitamin C, antioxidants, and peptides are sensitive to air, light, and heat. Repeated exposure can cause them to break down over time, making them less effective.

That’s why I love Lira’s packaging. It helps protect the formula from unnecessary air and contamination, keeping those powerhouse ingredients as potent as possible from the first use to the last.

This one meant a lot🥹 Results are the goal… but how you feel in the process matters just as much!

I owe this little corner of the internet an apology … I’ve been quieter than usual.

Not because I stopped caring. Not because I don’t love what I do. And definitely not because the people here have become any less important to me.

The truth is, life has been asking for more of me than I expected lately.

There are parts of our story that I’ll probably share when the timing feels right. But something I’ve been thinking about over and over is this:

I refuse to believe my hard is somehow more important than someone else’s hard.

Pain isn’t a competition.

Everyone is carrying something.

Some people carry it quietly.
Some people carry it publicly.
Most of us are just doing the best we can with what today asks of us.

So if you’re one of my clients, I hope you’ve always felt cared for, checked in on, and appreciated—even when I’ve been a little slower or a little quieter.

If you’re a friend, I hope you know how deeply I value you.

And if you’re somewhere in between—someone who’s simply chosen to spend a few seconds here every once in a while—you are part of the reason I keep showing up.

Thank you for giving me grace while I’ve needed a little of it myself.

You’ll probably know more of my “something” sooner than later.

But until then, I hope you know this:

Your something matters too.

Your hard matters.
Your victories matter.
Your healing matters.
You matter.

And if this place can continue to be a place that reminds you of that—even while I navigate my own chapter—then that’s exactly where I want Forge to be.🤍

People assume that because I’m an esthetician my routine is perfect, my habits are perfect, and my skin is perfect.

If only it were that simple. 😂

Some truths lately:

☀️ I love the sun. Probably more than someone who spends her days fighting against it.

🧴 My PM routine has been inconsistent. And guess what? When I’m not consistent, I don’t get the results I want either.

✨ I’m stuck between two routines I love. Winter skin Brooke focuses on correction, brightening, and inflammation. Summer skin Brooke needs hydration, healing, and barrier support. Right now I’m somewhere in the middle.

💆‍♀️ I’ve been slacking on my own treatments and appointments. Next week is appointment-heavy because I’m making myself a priority again. Sometimes we all need a little break from the things we know we should be doing.

⏱️ I haven’t been giving my cleanser the full 60 seconds it deserves. Expensive products don’t work harder because they cost more—you still have to use them correctly.

🌿 My recent breakouts? A lot of it is sluggish lymphatics and stress. Time to get back to my lymphatic drainage habits.

🔴 Red light therapy… I own it, I recommend it, and now I need to actually be more consistent with it. Sound familiar?

The reality is that healthy skin isn’t about perfection. It’s about consistency, adjusting with the seasons, and getting back on track when life happens.

And if you’ve fallen off your routine lately, you’re in good company.

I’ll do it if you do it… deal?
